For the last few years I’ve been creating big screen content for Yorkshire CCC on T20 match days. This can include adapting video to fit on screen, and also several bespoke graphics and animations.
My favourite job to do has been the lineup video in the build up to each match. This is a high-pressure video that has to be made at very short notice. I have around 10 minutes to turn this video around after the toss, so it’s imperative to be prepared. I have pre-compositions made for each of the players that get dropped into a master composition as soon as I know the line up. This is quickly rendered out to be played on the big screen whilst our announcer reads out the team.
It’s nice to look back through these yearly projects and see the development in my creative and technical abilities – so here is a sample of kit launches from each year I worked at YCCC.
